Mustard Glazed Chicken
On the table: 35 minutes
1/4 cup CSR Golden Syrup Squeeze
2 tbsps olive oil
2 tbsps seeded mustard
1 clove garlic, crushed
4 chicken fillets
Seasonal vegetables, to serve
- Preheat oven to 180ºC conventional or 160ºC fan forced. Combine the golden syrup, oil, mustard and garlic to form a glaze.
- Place chicken onto baking paper lined oven tray and brush both sides with glaze. Bake for 20 mins or until cooked. Brush with glaze half way through cooking.
- Arrange the glazed chicken onto serving plates and enjoy with seasonal vegetables.
Golden Syrup is perfect substitute for honey in marinades and glazes. It adds a wonderful rich caramel flavour.
TIP: You can use CSR Original Golden Syrup in this recipe, however we recommend that you stand the tub in a bowl of boiling water for 5 minutes – this makes it easy to pour and spoon.
