Grape Flan

Ingredients

300ml Carton Light Sour Cream
1 Prepared Sponge Flan Base (from supermarket)
2 1/2 Cups Seedless Green Grapes
2 Tablespoons CSR Original Golden Syrup
3 Tablespoons Apple Juice
1 Tablespoon Brandy or Calvados

Method

1 : Spread sour cream over the base of the flan. Arrange whole grapes on top of the sour cream.
2 : Lightly prick the base of the flan with a skewer in several places to make drainage holes for the syrup.
3 : Combine CSR Original Golden Syrup, apple juice and brandy or calvados in a saucepan and warm over a low heat
for 1 minute or until syrup has dissolved. Gently pour the sauce evenly over the flan.

Comments

Tip : Remember to be generous with the sauce. Some of the sauce will seep
down enriching the flan base.
