Flambe Kiwi Fruit and Bananas
Ingredients
4 Large Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
3 Tablespoons CSR Raw Sugar
2 Tablespoons Water
2 Tablespoons Brandy
3 Kiwi Fruit, peeled and diced
1 Large Banana, peeled and sliced
Method
1 : Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in four individual heatproof glass dishes. Keep chilled.
2 : Place CSR Raw Sugar and water in a heavy based frypan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves
and begins to caramelise. Remove pan from heat.
3 : Add brandy and ignite immediately. Quickly stir in kiwi fruit and bananas and cook until flames die and fruit is heated
through.
4 : Spoon hot fruit and any pan juices over chilled ice cream. Serve immediately.
