Apple Macadamia Cake
Ingredients
2 Granny Smith Apples, peeled and sliced
1 Cup CSR White Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Bicarbonate Soda
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1 Cup Macadamia Nuts, chopped roughly
1 Egg
125g Butter
Method
1 : Mix the CSR White Sugar into the apple slices.
2 : Sift the dry ingredients and mix in the chopped macadamia nuts.
3 : Melt the butter and when cool stir in the beaten egg.
4 : Stir the butter mixture lightly into the dry ingredients and then the apples.
5 : Spoon the mixture into a greased tin approx. 20cm and bake in a 350oF (180oC) oven until cooked.

Tip : This dish is delicious served with whipped cream!
