Australia’s leading sugar brand, CSR Sugar has developed the CSR Gluten Free Icing Mixture range, specifically to meet the needs of the growing number of Australians who are gluten intolerant. The CSR Gluten Free Icing Mixture range is now made with 100% gluten free ingredients.

The Coeliac Society of Australia estimates more than 250,000 Australians have Coeliac Disease, while as many as one in 70 experience some degree of intolerance to gluten. However, it’s estimated that as few as one in 10 people with Coeliac Disease are currently diagnosed, despite many having symptoms or complications attributable to the condition.

The CSR Gluten Free Icing Mixture range features tapioca starch, a gluten free alternative to the wheat starch used in most icing sugars. People who are gluten intolerant and on a gluten free diet will be reassured to know that our icing sugar plant has been converted to be gluten free and that all products in the range have the Coeliac Society endorsement.
