Seven Minute Frosting
Ingredients
1 Egg White
175g CSR Caster Sugar
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Cream of Tartar
30ml CSR Original Golden Syrup
Method
1 : Put all the ingredients except the CSR Original Golden Syrup into a bowl with 30ml water and whisk lightly. Place
the bowl over a pan of hot water and heat, whisking continuously, until the mixture thickens sufficiently to stand in
peaks. This will take about 7 mins, depending on the whisk used and the heat of the water.
2 : Stir in the CSR Original Golden Syrup.
3 : Pour the frosting over the top of the cake and spread with a palette knife.
