Quick American Frosting - A Soft Fluffy

Ingredients

250g CSR Caster Sugar
70ml Water
1 Egg White
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla or Lemon Rind

Method

1 : Place all ingredients in a bowl over a pan of hot water. The bowl should rest on the rim of the saucepan without
touching the water. Whisk for 10-15 mins until a thick spreading consistency is reached.
2 : Add colouring and flavouring if desired and use at once.
