Fresh Fruit Kebabs

Ingredients

225g Canned Pineapple pieces, drained
1 green apple, peeled and cubed
2 bananas, peeled and thickly sliced
2 kiwi fruit, peeled and cubed
425 g apricot halves in natural juice, drained with 1/2 cup of juice reserved
1 1/2 tablespoons CSR Dark Brown Sugar
1 tablespoon Cointreau or any orange liqueur
2 teaspoons cornflour

Method

1 : Preheat Griller to medium.
2 : Thread fruit onto 8 wooden skewers, alternating pieces attractively.
3 : Place reserved apricot juice , CSR Dark Brown Sugar, Cointreau and cornflour in saucepan. Stir over medium heat
until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens slightly.
4 : Brush kebabs with apricot mixture and grill for 4 minutes, turning and brushing with apricot mixture twice during
cooking.
5 : Serve immediately.

Comments

Tip : Substitute other varieties of fruit if preferred!
