Easy Microwave Pudding
Ingredients
3 Tablespoons of Jam or CSR Golden Syrup.
4oz self raising flour.
2oz of shreddo.
2oz CSR Caster Sugar.
1 egg.
2 tablespoons water.
4 tablespoons milk.
2 drops vanilla essence.
Method
1. Lightly grease a 1 pint pudding bowl.
2. Place jam/syrup in the bottom of pudding basin.
2. Mix flour, sugar and shreddo together and then beat in the egg, water and milk until it resembles a thick batter like consistency.
3. Spoon mixture into pudding basin and cover with Glad wrap.
4. Cook in the microwave on high for 2 minutes. Take glad wrap off and cook for a further 2 minutes and then leave to stand for 2 minutes before serving.
Comments
The best way to get the pudding out of the bowl is to place a large plate on top of the bowl and then turn it upside down. It's great served with custard.
