Brandy Apples with Figs
Ingredients
30g Butter
2 Cooking Apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
2 Tablespoons CSR Brown Sugar
4 Tablespoons Apple Juice
2 Tablespoons Brandy
4 Dried Figs, Chopped
4 Scoops Vanilla Ice cream
Method
1 : Melt butter in large saucepan, add apples and cook for 2 - 3 minutes.
2 : Stir in CSR Brown Sugar, apple juice, brandy and figs. Cook, stirring, over a low heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to
the boil and simmer for 5 - 8 minutes, or until apples are tender.
