Apple Fritters
Ingredients
1 1/4 Cups Plain Flour
2 Egg Yolks
Pinch of Salt
150ml Cider
4 Granny Smith Apples
CSR White Sugar
Method
1 : Place the flour in a bowl and making a well in the centre, add egg yolks, salt and cider.
2 : Stir until a smooth, fairly thick batter forms (this can be carried out in a food processor).
3 : Cover and set aside.
4 : Peel and core the apples. Cut across into fairly thin rounds.
5 : Dip each in batter separately and deep fry in hot oil. As they turn golden brown remove with a slotted spoon
and drain on paper towel.
6 : Sprinkle both sides with CSR White Sugar and serve warm.

Tip :The batter should be made several hours in advance.
