Apple & Date Pudding
Ingredients
2 Tablespoons CSR Original Golden Syrup
2 Teaspoons CSR Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Polyunsaturated Margarine
2 Tablespoons Cream
4 ready-made Sultana Cup Cakes or Muffins
140g Tin Apple Puree
2 Fresh or Dried Dates, finely chopped
Method
1 : Combine CSR Original Golden Syrup and CSR Brown Sugar in a saucepan over a moderate heat. Bring to the
boil stirring, rapidly boil for 1 min. Remove from heat, add margarine and cream and stir well.
2 : With a sharp knife, cut out a lid from each cup cake. Scoop out a little cavity. Lid and crumbs can be discarded or
served extra with the puddings.
3 : Spoon equal quantities of apple puree into each cup cake. Top with equal quantities of dates.
4 : Microwave on high (100% power) for 1 min.
