Semolina Little Cakes
Ingredients
2oz Plain Flour
2oz Havelock Semolina
2oz Ground Almonds
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
4oz Butter
2oz CSR Caster Sugar
2 Eggs
Vanilla & Almond Essence
CSR Pure Icing Sugar for decorating
Method
1 : Grease 20 small cake tins.
2 : Sieve flour, Havelock Semolina, ground almonds, baking powder and salt.
3 : Cream butter, CSR Caster Sugar and eggs. Stir in dry ingredients and chopped walnuts.
4 : Fill prepared tins 2/3. Bake at 375oF until golden.
When cold, ice and decorate with cherries and chopped walnuts.
