Chocolate Shortbread Biscuits
Ingredients
5oz Plain Flour
2oz Havelock Semolina
Pinch of Salt
4oz Butter
2oz CSR White Sugar
CSR Caster Sugar
1/2oz Cocoa
Method
1 : Sieve flour, Havelock Semolina, cocoa and salt.
2 : Cream butter and CSR White Sugar until fluffy.
3 : Stir in dry ingredients. Knead together lightly.
4 : Turn out on board and roll out 1/2 inch thick. Cut into fingers. Prick with fork.
5 : Bake on lightly greased tray in moderate oven (350oF) until golden. Sprinkle with CSR Caster Sugar. Cool on
wire tray.
