Club Fudge Slice
Ingredients
175g butter
1 tablespoon CSR Golden Syrup
1 Cup CSR White Sugar
1 Cup Coconut
1 tablespoon Cocoa
2 Cups flour
Method
Melt butter and golden syrup in a large saucepan, then remove from heat. Add the white sugar and coconut, then stir in cocoa and flour. Press into greased sponge roll tin bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.
Ice when cold with chocolate icing and cut into slices to serve.
Comments
I sometimes add the juice of a lime to the icing for a nice tangy taste.
You can cook it for another 5 - 10 minutes for a firmer base.
Usually find I have to make a double mix if I want it to last more than one day!
