Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

2 Cups CSR White Sugar
1/2 Cup Milk
185g Plain Chocolate
30g Butter

Method

1 : In a heavysaucepan, place the CSR White Sugar, milk and chocolate and stir together until all the sugar is
dissolved.
2 : Remove from the heat and add the butter.
3 : Return to the heat and bring to the boil without stirring, until it reaches the soft ball stage (112-116oC).
4 : Remove the fudge from the heat, let it cool for 5 minutes, then beat it well with electric beaters until it is thick.
5 : Pour into a greased 20cm square tin. Let set, then cut into squares. Store in single layers in a box.
