Dream Cake
Ingredients
Shortcake Base
125g butter
2 tablespoons CSR White Sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Spread on Top
1 cup CSR Soft Brown Sugar
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon CSR Golden Syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1/2 tablespoon flour
vanilla essence
Method
Shortcake Base:
Cream butter and sugar,add flour and baking powder.
Press into flat tin and Bake for 15 minutes in a 200°C oven.
Mix topping ingredients together and spread onto base once cooked.
Return to oven and cook for a further 30- 45 minutes at 180°C.
Ice with chocolate icing when cold, sprinkle with chopped walnuts or coconut.
