Gypsy Creams
Ingredients
8 oz (225g)Butter
4 oz (125g)CSR White Sugar
3 oz (75g )Cornflakes
2 teaspoons CSR Golden Syrup
8 oz (225g)Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
6 teaspoons Boiling Water
Method
Cream butter and sugar. Mix together:water,soda and syrup. Mix into butter mixture. Add flour and baking powder. Add cornflakes last and mix well.
Put a teaspoon of mixture onto a greased tray or use baking paper, and press down.
Cook in a moderate oven at 180°C for 20 mins.
Put together with mock cream when cool.

I sometomes can roll them in my hand depending on the stifness of the mixture, using flour on my hands.
