Sticky Soy Chicken Wings
Ingredients
Serves: 4
¾ cup salt-reduced soy sauce
½ cup (125ml) CSR Golden Syrup
2 tsps sesame oil
½ tsp fresh ginger, finely grated
Cracked black pepper
900g chicken wings
½ cup spring onion, finely sliced
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180ºC conventional (160ºC fan forced) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Combine soy sauce, golden syrup, sesame oil, ginger and pepper in a large bowl. Add chicken and toss to coat evenly.
3. Drain chicken from the marinade. Place on prepared tray and bake for 40 mins or until golden brown and cooked. Baste wings half way through the cooking time with marinade.
4. Serve topped with spring onions and lemon wedges. Enjoy with fried or steamed rice.
