Baked Stuffed Granny Smith Apples
6 Granny Smiths Apples
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
1/3 cup Mixed Dried Fruit
1/3 cup CSR Raw Sugar
6 whole Cloves
1/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/3 cup Water
Vanilla Custard for serving
1 : Wash and remove core from apples. Make a cut in skin around the centre of each apple to allow for expansion
during cooking and stand in a greased oven proof baking dish.
2 : Pour lemon juice into the cavity of each apple and stuff with dried fruit.
3 : Sprinkle CSR Raw Sugar over apples and place a knob of butter and whole clove on top of each apple. Sprinkle
with cinnamon, add water.
4 : Bake at 180oC for 45 mins - until tender.
