Bacon-Cheese Toasts

Ingredients

8 Slices Crusty White Bread
4 Trimmed Rashers Bacon
8 Pre-Cut Slices Swiss Cheese
3 Tablespoons Soft Butter
4 Tablespoons CSR Golden Syrup Squeeze

Method

1 : Toast the bread on one side only. Grill the bacon under a hot griller until crisp. Place 1 slice of cheese on each
bread slice. Top each with a rasher of bacon and another slice of cheese. Top with remaining bread, placing
uncooked side upwards.
2 : Mix the soft butter with the CSR Golden Syrup Squeeze. Spread 1/2 Tablespoon of mixture over each slice of
bread. Cook under a hot griller until bubbling and melted. Turn, brush with remaining butter mixture and grill until
golden. Serve immediately.
