Buttermilk Apple Muffins
Ingredients
250g Self Raising Flour
2 Tablespoons CSR White Sugar
1 Egg
1 Cup Buttermilk
60g Butter, melted
1 Tablespoon CSR Original Golden Syrup
1 Cup grated Apple
Method
1 : Preheat oven to 200oC.
2 : Generously grease a 12 cup muffin tin.
3 : Sift the flour and CSR White Sugar into a bowl and fold in the apple.
4 : Quickly stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until the flour is moistened.
5 : Spoon the batter into the muffin tins, filling about three quarters full, and bake for 20 to 25 mins
or until muffins are golden brown and springy to the touch.
Comments
Tip :Do not overbeat as this will toughen the muffins!
