- CSR Dark Brown Sugar has a rich colour and distinctive molasses flavour and aroma which comes from natural molasses syrup.
- CSR Brown Sugar is a moist, golden brown, fine crystal product made using selected refinery syrups.
- These sugars are wonderful added to Asian dishes.
- They complement hot chilli and lime flavours.
- Use as a substitute for palm sugar.
- Always store brown sugar in an airtight container.
CSR Pure Icing Sugar & CSR Soft Icing Mixture
- CSR Pure Icing Sugar is made from finely ground 100% natural sugar cane and is ideal when you need an icing to set firm.
- CSR Soft Icing Mixture is a fine grained white sugar produced by grinding crystal sugar.
- CSR Soft Icing Mixture does not tend to form as many lumps and is a little easier to sift. Soft Icing Mixture is best used when making soft butter icing.
- Icing sugars are sometimes referred to as 'confectioners sugar'.
- CSR Icing Sugars are gluten free.
CSR Caster Sugar
- CSR Caster Sugar has a fine grain/texture that dissolves easily when beaten.
- When used in baking, the smaller sugar crystals caramelise evenly.
- It is best used for making meringues, sponges and cupcakes.
- Caster sugar is also called 'superfine sugar'.
CSR Syrups
- CSR Golden Syrup is made from natural cane syrups and has a delicious caramel flavour.
- CSR Golden Syrup is the perfect ingredient for adding moisture, colour and flavour to savoury and sweet recipes.
- CSR Golden Syrup Squeeze is lighter in colour and has a more subtle caramel flavour than CSR Golden Syrup.
- For an easy dessert, place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a bowl, top with sliced banana and drizzle with lots of luscious golden syrup or golden syrup squeeze.
- CSR Treacle has a stronger, slightly more bitter flavour than CSR Golden Syrup and is perfect in savoury and sweet recipes.
- Make a quick dressing by mixing equal parts treacle with balsamic vinegar.
