Gingernuts

Ingredients

100g butter
1 tablespoon CSR Golden Syrup (Tinned)
1 cup CSR Sugar(200g)
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 3/4 cups flour
1/4 cup sultanas
1/4 cup walnuts

Method

In a medium sized saucepan melt the butter. Remove from the heat and stir in the golden syrup, then add the sugar,ginger,and egg. Mix well.
Add baking soda,sultanas,walnuts and flour.
Roll into balls and place on the oven tray and flatten with a fork.
Set oven at 180&dedeg;C and cook for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Place on a rack to cool.
Store in a airtight container.
